PHP developer

The responsibilities of this position include code planning, writing and debugging.


Qualifications needed:

  • A high level of integrity, fast learner and fast coder, yet with a high level of quality, authentic, creative and highly independent.
  • Ability to provide in-house-customer support and help in a friendly and caring approach.
  • Good knowledge and working experience with the following technologies (by order of appearance):
  • Experience in programming large scale projects in PHP.
  • Experience with Linux environments.
  • Experience in developing database driven systems using MySQL; having an extensive knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience in OOP.


Very good knowledge in:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • DHTML
  • Knowledge in administrating Unix/Linux and Apache Web Servers

PHP Developer

Developing, implementing, and maintaining Internet applications under linux environment with database back-end.

Mandatory requirements:

1). PHP - Thorough knowledge of PHP. Experience with Smarty/Pear or other common code libraries is an advantage.

2). SQL - (triggers, foreign keys, transactions, query optimization, database design, server configuration).

Experience with large databases and Experience with PostgresQL - an advantage.

3). Familiarity in working in a Linux shell development environment.

Additional skills that can be of use:

- Familiarity with PEAR

- DHTML, Ajax, Javascript
