System Engineer / Production IT Manager – Job Description:
• Complete, 24/7, responsibility for a highly available, fault tolerant Web based SaaS production environment, H/W and S/W infrastructure architecture and implementation.
• Complete responsibility for the internal IT of the company.

Prerequisites:
• At least 5 years of experience in architecture, design, implementation, management and maintenance of web based production IT environments, preferably SaaS.
• Knowledge and hands-on ability to install, configure and maintain:
• Networking - Backbones, Routers and Switches (VLANs etc.)
• Firewall – Preferably Cisco
• Storage – Preferably NetApp – Definition of luns and volumes, snapshots, backup/restore
• Linux Administration - advantage
• Database – MS SQL, MySQL (advantage). SQL at Admin level, Replication, backup/restore, fine tuning
• VMWare ESX , ESXi
• High Availability – Clustering, Load Balancing, Monitoring (installation and configuration of SCOM – An advantage)
• Security of web based SaaS, networks separation, DMZ.

Manager of IT and NOC @ Correlix

1) Managing the company's Network Operation Center and data center facility (24x7 availability).
2) Managing Correlix's facilities located at customer sites (financial)
3) Managing the company's IT infrastructure in Israel and in the US which includes: Correlix's offices and server lab
4) Leading a team of 4 people - NOC operators and system administrators
5) Coordinating external contractors involved in IT operations

The job includes hands-on and management work, cooperation with several departments in the company and coordination with external contractors

Position requirements:
The person we seek should combine management/leadership skills and vast technical experience.

1) At least 5 years of experience as a technical team leader/IT department manager, in the area of enterprise IT/networking/system administration, scale of ~100 machines/devices.
(Financial enterprise - advantage).
2) Deep knowledge of Ethernet network topologies and network devices (layer 2 and layer 3), including network security devices.
3) Experience in Linux system administration.
4) Experience in NOC management - advantage.
5) Experience with system/network monitoring solutions - advantage.
6) Team player.
7) Fluent English - speaking, reading and writing.
