Automation Administrator - LivePerson

Job Overview:

Will join the automation team and will take part in introducing new services and versions to production; design, write and test upgrade and rollback scripts as well as various disaster recovery procedures. Join our production application team which manages and supports the various in-house developed services (running on Windows and Unix) as well as 3rd party ones. Our company works is a "software-as-a-service" model and has thousands of clients worldwide. Due to our growth and commitment to the highest uptime, the working environment is intensive and demands working in irregular hours including off-hours on-call shifts (24x7). You will join the automation team and will take part in introducing new services and versions to production; design, write and test upgrade and rollback scripts as well as various disaster recovery procedures. You will be also be required to support and maintain the automation infrastructure in Liveperson.
Job Requirements:

* 2-3 years experience in web/internet application in administrator/ advanced support position
* Perl coding / scripting capabilities (at least 1 year experience)
* Demonstrate analytical thinking, adaptability, enthusiasm and motivation
* Foresight to anticipate problems and recognize opportunities for improving operations
* Experience in UNIX/LINUX environments - an advantage
* Experience in integration and packaging - an advantage
* Experience with monitoring tools (preferably HPOV) - an advantage
* High level English is required
* Team player
* Readiness to Join 24x7 on-call shifts (respond to calls only)
