Position Description
The worldwide Support group is responsible for the ongoing technical status of ClickSoftware's customers.

As a member of the Worldwide Support group, the Engineer will be responsible to resolve any technical issue raised by customers. The job combines challenges of highly technical nature on one hand, and customer interaction on the other hand.

The job requires the ability to work effectively on multiple tasks (sometimes under time pressure) and to have very good knowledge of ClickSoftware's products and associated infrastructural technologies at both functional and product code level.

This position reports to the Director of Worldwide Support, located in Israel.

Primary Responsibilities
• In depth acquaintance and understanding of ClickSoftware Service Optimization products suite.
• Rich understanding of product architecture and code as well as associated technologies. (including troubleshooting and debugging of the code)
• Produce product level fixes and small features.
• Provide support for complex product issues to customers including direct communication and interaction with the customers during business hours and occasionally during off hours.
• Perform on-site visits, either to address specific issues or to perform preventive maintenance activities
• Produce Knowledge Articles for general usage, per resolved issues

Required Skills/Experience
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience working with VB.Net and/or C++
• Development/Support of N-tier applications
• Skilled with Microsoft development environments (e.g. Visual Studio, Win-Debug)
• Experience in analysis and troubleshooting of existing code - advantage
• Experience with Database programming Oracle, MS SQL-Server – advantage.
• Experience with user interface programming – advantage.
• Previous experience with technical support – advantage.
• Previous development of Web-based business applications ASP.Net– advantage.
• Strong desire to resolve highly complex technical challenges combined with customer interaction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel, as the job requires (estimated at 5%)
