Localization Project Manager

Tasks:

• Dealing with complex projects
• Working closely with the project and product managers in de Offering division on Localization tasks
• Organizing Localization kits and handling deliverables
• Planning, scheduling and monitoring the progress of multiple projects
• Co-ordination of translation requests to vendors and task owners
• Effective communication with internal clients to ensure customer satisfaction
• Basic awareness of HTML/XML

Skills - Qualifications:

• Degree level education. Language degrees and MA qualifications welcomed, but not essential
• High level English- must
• Mother tongue level in Japanese or Chinese- advantage
• At least 1 - 2 years localization industry experience
• IT orientation
• Technical expertise in file formats and TRADOS- must
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities
